Former Hincapie Development Team rider, Chris Butler is BMC Racing Team’s newest professional. Normally, the newbies are given the menial (and tiring) tasks of carrying water, fetching jackets from the car and pulling in the headwind for 50K’s. Chris is getting a rare opportunity to show his stuff tomorrow in the Giro del Trentino in Italy. Today, BMC has announced that they are going to give him a chance to shine on tomorrow stage that finishes with a 7.65km, 1,760m climb that averages 10%. This is one of Butler’s strengths. He goes up hill very quickly. Tomorrow, he will be climbing with some of the world’s most reputable mountain goats and we know he will make us proud. Best of luck on tomorrow’s stage, Chris!
