Defending the Title at Tour de Beauce

Known as one of the most difficult stage races in North America, Tour de Beauce is offers brutal weather and challenging climbs. 2017 brought an overall win for Andzs Flaksis, as well as a second-place finish in the time trial for TJ Eisenhart. The team heads back to Quebec this year with high hopes to lock in another overall win.

The Squad for Tour de Beauce includes John Murphy (who just came off a win at the Armed Forces Cycling Classic), as well as Flaksis, Eisenhart, Ruben Companioni, Brendan Rhim, Joe Lewis, and Andrew Dahlheim.

“Being Latvian, the weather in Canada feels like home for me,” says Flaksis. “Last year’s overall win only unfolded on the last day, so I know this time to be patient and keep on fighting.”

“It will be a true test for the guys for sure,” adds Chief Sports Director Thomas Craven. “We’re relying on the experience of the team to remain calm and focused on winning the overall.”
